Welcome to the 30-Day Bible Study: Savior vs. Lord

Hey, it’s Sam Llanes, and I’m excited to invite you on a powerful journey through this 30-day study. We’re diving into what it means to not only have Jesus as your Savior but to make Him the Lord of your life. Each day, we’ll explore short, impactful scriptures and reflections that will help you deepen your relationship with Jesus and learn to submit every part of your life to His will. Whether you’ve been a Christian for years or you’re just starting out, this study is designed to help you grow in your walk with Christ. Grab your Bible, set aside 15 minutes a day, and let’s walk through this together!

Day 1:
Savior and Lord – The Difference

Scripture:

Romans 10:9

Many people call Jesus their Savior, but do they also make Him their Lord? Salvation means Jesus saves us from sin, but when He is Lord, He rules our hearts and actions.

Question:

Have I made Jesus Lord over all areas of my life, or only some?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for saving me. Help me submit every part of my life to Your will.

Day 2:
The Lordship of Jesus

Scripture:

Philippians 2:9-11

Reflection:

Jesus is Lord of all, whether people acknowledge it or not. One day, every knee will bow to Him. Making Him Lord means recognizing His authority over every aspect of life.

Question:

What area of my life am I hesitant to fully surrender to Jesus?

Prayer:

Jesus, show me where I need to submit more fully to Your Lordship.

Day 3:
Trusting Him as Lord

Scripture:

Proverbs 3:5-6

Reflection:

Trusting the Lord requires giving up control. It means trusting His plan, even when we don’t understand it.

Question:

Prayer:

Lord, help me trust You more and lean not on my understanding.

Day 4:
The Cost of Discipleship

Scripture:

Reflection:

Following Jesus as Lord can be costly. It may require giving up things that are important to us, but the reward is eternal.

Prayer:

Jesus, give me the strength to lay down my own desires to follow You.

Day 5:
A Life of Obedience

Scripture:

Prayer:

Jesus, I submit to Your leadership. Give me peace in Your plan.

Day 7:
Putting Jesus First

Scripture:

Matthew 6:33

Reflection:

When Jesus is Lord, we seek His kingdom and righteousness first. Everything else falls into place when He is our priority.

Prayer:

Lord, help me seek You and Your kingdom above all else.

Day 8:
Surrendering Your Plans

Scripture:
